Wine tour

This tour takes place every Friday at 10:00 am. The tour starts at the lobby of the Tzuba Hotel.
We will visit the old wine press, proceed to the vineyards for an explanation on modern wine growing and the tour will end with a visit of the Tzuba winery and wine tasting.
The tour is adapted to families with children. The minimum number of participants needed to operate the tour is 5 people.
Price per participant (over 5 years of age) is 25 Shekel. The tour is free for hotel guests.
Special Friday offer: Wine and brunch for 115 Shekels per adult and 90 Shekel per child (aged 5 – 12 years old).

From the Bible period to Independence

This tour takes place every Saturday at 10:00 am. The tour starts at the lobby of the Tzuba Hotel.
We will visit the remains of the Crusader fortress on Mount Tzuba, proceed to the ancient olive trees and oak trees and walk through the orchards to Ein Tzuba and the underground source.
The tour is 2 kms long and lasts about two and a half hours.
The tour is adapted to families with children (babies in baby-carriers). The minimum number of participants needed to operate the tour is 5 people.
Price per participant (over 5 years of age) is 20 Shekel. The tour is free for hotel guests.

Tour of the vineyards and the remnants of the biblical city (The stone plateau)

This tour takes place every Saturday at 02:00 pm. The tour starts at the lobby of the Tzuba Hotel.
We will walk through the vineyards to the area of the “stone plateau”. We will see an ancient burial cave from the First Temple era, an ancient purifying pool (Mikve), an ancient quarry, an old threshing floor, a guard house and other remnants of the Biblical town Tzuba. We will try to imagine how the inhabitants of the ancient city lived. From the stone plateau we will have a magnificent view of the settlements of the Jerusalem corridor.
The tour lasts some hour and a half to two hours.
The tour is adapted to families with older children. Strollers can negotiate most of the way. The minimum number of participants needed to operate the tour is 5 people.
Price per participant (over 5 years of age) is 20 Shekel. The tour is free for hotel guests.

St John the Baptist’s cave

For groups subject to advance booking
St John the Baptist’s cave is a special archeological site. In the cave we find a huge water system from the Judean Kings period that became a special baptismal place in the first century C.E. and is attributed to St John the Baptist. On the wall one can still see an effigy of St John the Baptist dating from the Byzantine period.
The tour lasts about an hour. Participants drive their own car to the site at a distance of two kilometers and then walk some 300 meters.
The tour is adapted to adults or families with grown up children.

Ein Tzuba

Ein Tzuba is open to the general public on Fridays and Saturdays from 11:00 am to 03:00 pm. Timetable is subject to changes. During the week, visits must be coordinated beforehand. Entrance price to the source: 10 Shekel per person. Entrance is free for hotel guests.
